Kimberly Nowell
Owner/ Color Specialist
Kimberly is the owner of Salon Aqua and has been so for going on 13 years. She is a master colorist and perfectionist with all of her work. She has an eye for everything beautiful and this shows in the Salon. She chooses her team wisely and makes sure that we have the best of the best providing services for our clients. Kimberly has an awesome husband and two sweet boys. She loves to run and spend time with her family and friends.
Angela Lightsey-Dean
Salon Manager
Angela is a native of Savannah and resides on Tybee Island. She has been working in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and specifically with brides for 15 of those 20. Although she is not a stylist herself, she has a passion for the art of beauty. When Angela is not at the salon, she can be spotted on the beach tooling around in her little pink Jeep with her adorable daughter.
Jamie Dajuan
Jamie hails from Savannah, and holds a Master Cosmetology License with over 7 years in the industry. She is highly committed to continuing her education, while advancing her skills as a Balayage and Color Artist. She has her Deva Curl Certification, and continues as a curly inspired stylist. She values being a part of special events, and the Bridal Team for up-dos, traditional, and airbrush makeup. She loves all animals and enjoys her time at home with her three pups!
Katie Camacho
Katie is our resident wedding guru! She studied for her license in Savannah and has been working her magic for 13 years. Katie is from a long lineage of stylists in her family and grew up in the business. She brings a unique style and creativity to everything she does. Katie specializes in several color techniques and is the head of our bridal department. She is a wife & the mother of 4 beautiful children. She hails from Charleston, SC but has been in the Savannah area for several years. She enjoys boating and spending time with her family.
Joan Mills
Joan Mills has been in the industry for over 13 years. She has worked in Savannah for 10 years and loves the Low Country. Joan is Keratin Complex certified, passionate about color and considers herself an "updo magician!". Joan has recently returned to us from West Palm Beach. We are thrilled to welcome her home. She has two beautiful girls and she is the fastest runner we know
Renata Duran
Renata has been the "Hair Princess" for almost 20 years of her young life. She loves to cut hair with styles ranging from bohemian inspired wash-and-wear to super precise styles. Renata has been voted by Savannah locals as "Best Stylist" an impressive 4 times. She has trained with companies like Redken and TIGI but is also well versed with Schwartzkoph, Keune & Alphaparf. She is the mother of two gorgeous girls. She loves cooking craft beer. She hopes to one day own a laundromat!
Laura Jones
Laura has been in the industry for over 15 years. She began her education right after high school at the age of 18. Her clients are very loyal to her unique color processes and precise cutting style. Laura learned how to take care of people from her Grandmother who inspired her to make others feel good in her work. She is the mother of two children & she enjoys flower arranging and hanging out with her twin sister, Amy.
